This was an unreal show. I am so back on the Phish train. Met my buddy Jim in NYC and we kicked it old school. We also had some great jams back at the hotel room. I was lucky enough to see my other good friends before and after the show, so overall it was a perfect trip.

Haven’t posted in a while so I found a good video to keep these posts current! Dickey Betts and Warren Haynes playing Blue Sky in 1991. Saw them a lot these years in college. Notice Warren playing a fender strat with lace sensor pickups (like I play along with another guy named Eric Clapton). Now Warren is all about Gibson – a Les Paul or ES-335. Enjoy!

I woke up with this song in my head. I found a version where Walter Becker did NOT take the guitar solo. (sorry Walter). Check out this ripping guitar solo by Jon Herington. Notice the drummer, Baltimore native and Samuelson’s Diamonds customer, (I sold him a bracelet once) Dennis Chambers. He’s one of the world’s greatest.

Phish Boardwalk Hall 10-30-10

Went to see Phish at Boardwalk Hall for their Halloween run. If you’ll remember, I saw Phish a year and a half ago at Merriweather Post and the show was not great so I was down on the band. Check it out in my post, Summer Concert Review.

Well this past summer was a killer show and this AC show was unreal. SIX Zeppelin songs. Just check out this short video and you’ll see the energy of the crowd which is why I couldn’t take anymore footage. Enjoy!

Phish Merriweather Post Tomorrow Night

Another year has gone by since I’ve seen Phish. I have to say that the show last year at Merriweather was disappointing, but I’m giving them another try hoping they break out some old school stuff. I reviewed the show in this post, “Summer Concert Review”.
